This anime is good because some of the characters do become deliciously dark by the end. Every once in a while an anime show like 11 eyes comes for review, on the surface really quite dull and mediocre, but occasionally showing flashes of brilliance that stop you from dismissing it completely. 11eyes could have been a not so bad anime if the plot was executed correctly.

11 eyes is lass' fourth game. This is even worse than i thought i could ever be. I watched it as a way to pass the time in between other shows… and trust me, it did not make time go by any faster.

The ending wasn't that bad either for this kind of show and the osts definitely did their job, they created a dark atmosphere and the anime really needed that. The visual novel of 11eyes had everything all nicely set up to become a possibly well presented anime from what a few of my japanese acquaintances have stated with the correct music chosen for scenes to portray the necessary feeling, characters were likeable and the story was superbly written with proper closure each time. And while the direction is impressive, the animation and visuals themselves don’t often stand out.

However you only get what you have in anime, not what you want. It was actually hard to find a story within the first half of the show. 11 eyes started as a great show, interesting characters with a plot that was engaging.
